Season of Change: New Space + Rooting into What’s Next

This summer has been full in the best way, and I’ve stepped back from posting while navigating a major business change. Alongside advancing my trainings, staying busy with client sessions (and welcoming many new faces), and making time for my family, RAW Therapy + Wellness has officially found its own home right in the heart of New Ulm.

Now that I’ve been here a month, the space already feels like it’s come together just as I envisioned: simple and deeply aligned with the work I’m called to do. And with today marking back-to-school for my kids, it feels like the perfect moment to reflect on this season of new beginnings—for both them and me.

Gratitude

As I step more fully into this new chapter, I’m grateful for the time I spent at the New Ulm Wellness Collective. That space gave me the opportunity to connect with this community, collaborate with other practitioners, and build a strong foundation for what’s now unfolding.

This first month has been a process of grounding daily, bringing familiar comforts into the space, and letting it unfold at its own pace. None of it would have been possible without support. A heartfelt thank you to Jeff F., Cathy F., Teresa S., Emily D., Lee F., Larry H., and my kids for the painting, furniture moving, box hauling, and love that helped bring this vision to life.

Finding My Own Reset

Even as a bodyworker + nervous system practitioner, I’ve felt my own system get a little out of whack this past month. Big transitions, even the good ones, can be stressful on the body. Moving, setting up a new space, keeping up with client work, and balancing family life has been beautiful but also a lot to hold.

That’s why I’ve had to lean extra hard on my own reset practices:

  • Receiving bodywork myself

  • Detox baths and adrenal support

  • Hydration and nourishment

  • Rest and time outdoors

  • Kid cuddles (always the best reminder of what matters most)

Many of my clients come in carrying both “good stress” and the harder kinds, and I always remind them that support matters either way. Choosing to give your body what it needs, just like I’ve had to do, isn’t indulgent, it’s a way of offering yourself grace and care.

Leaning into these reset practices has reminded me why creating the right environment matters so much. Just like our bodies, the spaces we spend time in can either add to our stress or support our healing. That’s been my vision with this new space—to create a place that feels grounding, restorative, and aligned, not just for me, but for every client who walks through the door.

What You’ll Find Here

This space has been designed for:

  • Bodywork that supports the modern family

  • Nervous system–based healing and emotional wellness

  • Organic products for everyday living

  • Holistic wellness consults that offer tools to support your wellbeing long after you leave a session

If you’ve been moving through your own season of change, you know the importance of slowing down and letting your body catch up. This first month has shown me the beauty of rooting into a new chapter while keeping things steady.

Here’s to grounding, growing, and moving forward—together.
